i'm just wondering what art software people use for doing the artwork? as in the past i have tried to do some artwork and it just turns out poor! and when i see what people design on here it is just amazing!
also wondering where u get the pics for covers? just search engines?
cause i wouldn't mind giving it a try when i get some time!

if i was to try and make some I would probably uise photoshop
Yup, my biggest problem was finding the dimensions for the covers, and spines etc.
Now I just use an old file, as they are all the same size.
can photoshop be downloaded anywhere? cause i don't like paying for programs :D

have you got nero?the cover designer on there gives you pretty decent results,that o.c.s dvd sleeve was done on there in a few mins(what do you say you can tell).once you get used to that then use photoshop.just save the picture on your pc and drop them in the template on nero.
nero cover designer prints them out the right size or download a program called cover xp which also makes them exact size.
i've got photoshop7,i should say my mates got my copy of photoshop7 if you cant get it in the meantime i'll send you a copy with our next trade
cheers for the help! i'll have a crack at using nero over the weekend and see what i come up with! i've tried with nero before but i never thought that such good artwork can be made with nero! i guess it just needs a bit of time to do them!
what about some of the pics too? where would i find them? cause i have seen some of the artwork on these forums with really good wallpaper and pics and track listing added to them! or is it just a case of looking around?
I just look around for some pics.

can you take screenshots of the dvd with your pc,a couple of them on the cover look ok

I didnt look at the file but i persume it is a crack to get rid of the demo and make it a full version. But I reckon the serial number will do exactly the same thing
ah rite! just tried it on works computer and it won't let me do fuck all with it, proberly firewalled! so i was just curious at what it was! the min i download it i'll post in this thread so u can remove it!

The crack is 500MB though and the demo thing is 150MB.
I think the crack is the whole program which needs to be burnt onto disc first.

from the photoshops i like 7 better .. and i also use corel but thats on a rare occasion .. and pics i just look at every possible oasis site or depending on the artist .. and professional sites .. or like from the nme or q or anything like that ..

Yeah i think that is what it is. just clicked on it in college to see and it is 542megs. Must be the whole program
