Anyone make Artwork for Gigs?
I can host the artwork if your quite good at doing it for stuff.
Been making some myself for stone roses gigs
Yes, actually, aside from the band I am a graphic designer. The only thing I do not have access to is high quality pictures. If anyone can email me hi-res photos of the bands I will have no problem creating killer artwork. Here is my portfolio www.grazeweb.com/teil
I like to think I'm a pretty artistic chap, if theres any particular gig you want doing I'll give one a go.

If any of you are wanting to give it a go like reevzie has done and do alot, I am happy to add a section to the site, and host the artwork here.
Pretty much any band that has a forum or section on the site.
I don't imagine mine could match Reevzie's, but they would probably be better than some stuff thats around.
I fancy having a crack at that, ive made covers for my own compilation CDs in the past and they looked pretty good.
Name a band and the gig and ill have a go.

Not sure of exact dates for these gigs, so for 1st 1 1985 would be fine, and the 2nd July 85 is fine.

Do you want artwork to fit DVD cases or CD cases
DVD cases mate.
Thought I think the tracklistings are exact same for the CD boots also, so if you wanna give them an attempt also then go for yer life.
Also, if you aint got space to upload them, I think you should be able to load them to the forums, although you may not be able to upload a certain size. So depending on what size.
Any problems with that let me know also

Are we looking at 2 seperat covers for both gigs or just one cover for both of them, ive seen this dvd for sale on the web and both of these gigs were on the same DVD.

Cause I put my gigs onto seperate dvd's so they look better sitting on my unit thing :D

here is one of mine from the artwork I have done for some Roses gigs
Sorry Watson, but I've spotted a mistake in yours.
On the spine it says Liverpool Poly, but on the top of the back cover it says Liverpool Polly, with 2 "L"s
You can probably get the date for the other gig at http://www.stoneroses.net/gigs/gigs.html as thats where I found out that that one was the 20th.
Anyone want anythin else done?
I'd prefer to do another band, just for the variety/fun.

I really enjoyed seeing your art work.
Berny, the Stone Roses Manchester Flower Show of July 1985 was four months before I was born. I like how you snuck your name in under DVD symbol on spine part. I also liked that you put date on spine part, so that it is visible when on shelf with others.
Watson, I liked how you used @ symbol instead of word 'at' on your cover design. Adds nice artistic touch. I really liked the front cover with the pale rose on it. It says "great memory" to me.
Docker, I really liked how your layout include additional information such as the names of the musicians and what instrument they played and fact it was their first huge concert venue.

That Oasis artwork I said I would do will be done, but I've been busy recently. I will get round to it though.

I have mpeg of video of when Oasis boys played our exhibition and convention centre in 1998 and I was wondering if someone could make cover for cd case for it.
If someone would be willing to do so for me I would give them my web site address and they could use one of my photographs for cover. I have taken some photographs of our city from my bedroom window and I thought maybe one of them would be perfect for cd cover photograph.
When the Oasis boys came to the city I was 12 years old and my friends and I loved Liam and I wanted to go to see him, but my father would not let me because he said they were uncivilised hooligans who did not know how to behave properly. Very next day Liam was thrown of CP flight and banned for life from ever flyings CP and father said to me "I told you." hehe
