Rating DVD's out of 10

Right i have had stuff before where traders rate them out of 10 then when you get them they are way off the mark. I know its only an opinion but just take my example below and you'll understand

I got Songbird at CD:UK as a bonus on the end of a DVD. I already had a master of Songbird at CD:UK myself so i didn't need this. However the point is the person who this version of Songbird is sourced from has rated the quality 10/10. Take a look at the screenshot below and see if you agree if its a 10/10. I think people should at least be honest with ratings

Now bear in mind that this is rated 10/10, then look at the one below and what is that one then? 12/10?

Now i hope people can see what i'm getting at. If you rate something 10/10 then that means it should be the best quality available. The top one was sourced from a person famous for 'overrating' his stuff. I wont say any names but it is sourced from a dvd made by "Soloalbum Productions". Now i havent give my version any ratings but i think everyone can see the bottom version is better. Therefore the top one can't be 10/10. Everyone should be honest

think thats a great idea! i have recently had the same problem! had a newport 98 dvd which i know is about 3rd gen anyhow but the guy rated it as 5/5! the extra's that was on the dvd was rome 2002 (which i have the master) and fuji 01 (which i have 1st gen) and the quality was utter shite! in fact i will post some shots so u can all decide!

He says its a bit shaky so its ONLY 9/10. So if it wasnt shaky it'd be 10/10 then! Thats a 2nd gen. So the master would be what 15/10?

fair enough the sound could be better but the its a pity bit cracked me up. plus have you read hes got a glasto 2004 thats, wait for it, digital mastered with a Pioneer-Rec - perfect Quality. FUCK OFF, whys that better than the other versions dickhead. i might have the slowest snail mail ever and thats hopefully dealt with now (again :) ) but i've never not told the truth about the stuff i have just so it appears that i am 'King of oasis DVDs' or cutting bits out ect

So his lovely vhs-master isnt perfect but its 10/10 but he is getting a better version which is more recommended than a 10/10 version. Then again the way he rates stuff it doesn;t have to be perfect to be 10/10 :wank:
