I have the Hultsfred show first gen HIFI straight from one of the guys I trade with in Sweden, there are no audio or picture problems like the one you have.
Also on the same DVD is the Glasgow Green show from Scottish TV, Nicam HIFI master and Roll with it from TOTP first broadcast Nicam HIFI master.
Images from both shows and a frame from the menu follow.

nice 1 mate, i will be taking a lot down off my site cause it is not worth the space on my site the quality is that poor! just been the mug of a bad trade last week so most of the screen shots are from this trade! :no:

i have a 2nd gen vhs, which got ruined with the years

but lately i managed to get a dvd with it, the source seems equal to that one, but it's in SP+ mode, so i'm trying to get a HQ one.

The one on my images is XP 60 minute speed, SVHS to DVD-R.
By HQ I guess thats the Philips version of Panasonics XP?
