festival security

Anybody been to any of the festivals who can pass on some information regarding security.i know on another thread there is information regarding the move festival,would like to know particularly about the vfestival

when i went they checked me and bf a few years ago when they where going in but was bags and a quick frisk

good luck if its anything like last year - they even had sniffer dogs on the gates. The council were making a big thing about drugs and they went completely OTT, a mate of mine runs a stall down there and even they had to go through security. I've been a couple of times on freebie passes and its easy that way. Never seen a lineup I would pay money to see though.

I went to V 2003, and the security was shit. No-one even checked my ticket to get in, i still have it with the tag not even torn off. Everyone just qued up and then the gate was opened and everyone rushed in. I recorded Foo Fighters with my video camera and no-one said anything!
