I dont know if it makes sense (the topic) but has Liam ever sung a song that Noel sings on the recorded version? Such as DLBIA or Talk Tonight..?
Anyone know?
I don't think he has.
Usually if it is too high for Liam, Noel sings it. I was wondering the other day if we will ever get Noel singing on a track which Liam has written.

I am sure happy that Liam chose Wonderwall because it is song that I most asspciate with the Oasis boys and for me Liam IS the Oasis boys.
Don't Look Back In Anger is only song that I enjoy hearing Noel sing.

but did liam not sing the electric version of Talk Tonight
He didnt sing Electric Version of Talk Tonight... it was Noel and Paul Weller... why is paul weller called the Modfather?
Just cause he is :D
I think its because he was a mod back in the 80's or 70's, whenever it was, and also the Mods listened to Style Council Music, and didnt style council dress like mods too?

Liam's never sung a Noel song. And I was wondering if there would ever be an Oasis track written by Liam and sung by Noel. I'd like to hear BOADC sung by Noel at some point as I'm sure it'd be an excellent version!

noel has sung a few songs by liam... well, he's done Songbird and Little James, i tihnk that liam wrote The Meaning of Soul? did he? cos noel has a harmonising part that is the best part of the song

Seen Noel playing Songbird, would have liked to have heard the whole song rather than just a few segments (funny to see him screw money out of the presenter though :lol:)
Hopefully we'll have plenty more Noel and Liam written songs to debate whose vocals would suit it best on in the near future!
Another thing that interests me, I wonder if Gem or Andy would write a song for Noel's vocals as HIABP, TYFTGT and Meaning of the Soul have all been written for Liam's vocals (all perfectly suited to them I have to add!)
I dont personally like Gem or Andy's songs..
when i downloaded the T in the Park video, i started to dislike Gem's playing, he just pissed me off, dunno y :P

i found that clip where Liam sings a snippet of D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman,
its after Live Forever, between I Am The Walrus on the first night of the Maine Roade concert in 1996... Date is 27th April 1996...
please listen to it and tell me what you think
he sings "I wanna be a spaceman, but im too old. Oh, i forgot the words" <--- i think he's mocking noel from the Live by the Sea dvd, when Noel sings that and forgets the words...

i think its pretty simple. Paul Weller is a mod, is interested in mod culture and he has a big Mod following...thus - The Mod"Father"
