no such thing as a good free 1 mate.

The free ones just seem to either go down, have too many pop ups, not allow you to upload files over a certain size, and stuff like that.

My biggest gripe was that you couldnt do php on free ones, and run forums.

I was quite lucky, I got a good deal on these forums, but gonny have to pay quite a bit when I get the FTP up and running

really ?? sorry about that, i used it for 2 years and it was quite fast (upload: 20-30 kb/s) :(

ah not your fault. all i wanted to do was to upload a few songs but it was taking along time so i used http://www.methodlab.com
