Suprised. Live Forever comes out top.
I learnt Wonderwall first because you didn't have to move full shapes, just two fingers. I tried to learn it to everyone who wanted a go. In my experience, teaching new players Wonderwall is actually bad practice, because when they lean their second song, moving to different chords is always to too hard and they want to give up.
I realised Half The World Away is a better song to teach beginners. This broke in new chords gently and was easy to follow and strum.
Well, I got an Oasis chord book when I bought my guitar, and it said that you needed a capo for Wonderwall, so I ignored the song completely for a year until I had bought one.

The first full song I could play in entirety was Songbird, but if I take your words literally, the first song I could play that also had a solo (that I learnt) was really only TIOBI, as I never used to bother learning solos, just strumming usually does it for me. ;)

I also learnt wonderwall as my first song just recently and I know your right!! Having trouble with moving to different chords.......bollocks!

It was either the ubiquitous Wonderwall, or the older standard Wonderful Tonight. My memory fails me as to which, could even be Smells Like Teen Spirit.
