Left Southampton after 2 games into the new season!! Who will be the next manager ? How long will he last!!

Shows what a big step up the divisions it is! from what it says on sky sports news it was a lot to do with media attention! i could see him doing well tho! beattie will go now, and i know its not a favourite choice for southampton fans but i can see hoddle getting the job again! can't see strachen coming back! any 1 else agree?

He was prolly gonny get sacked if he didnt get a result at the weekend they were saying on radio.

And yeah they are lining up Strachen for the Scotland job, he said if he was offered it he would take it

I think Strachen is waiting for the Scotland job. He's got to be better then vogts. Glen Hoddle again for Southampton i think.

I think Sturrock downfall was his relationship with the players, he seemed very close with his team at Plymouth (Where I feel he should have stayed). But at Southampton he just couldn't adapt to managing big name players (well, players that consider themselves big).
Hoddle taking over as manager would be a major blow, I would hate to see him at my club whoever I support!
Think Strachen would do a great job as Scotland manager, he's a great character.
