Shame that as I thought they were better that TCSR. Good that they gave the Barras a special mention though.
Also just seen Will who runs www.stoneroses.net (which is the biggest roses forums and bootleg site by miles) is giving up. Suppose it might Watson will get more people over here.
where did you read that brian mate?

just read the full thing. he is giving up but says the site will still remain run by someone else. at first i thought he was taking the site down all together.
it was all about roses stuff tho as good as they was theres only so much u can say about them, this site is loads better cause its not just about the 1 band!
the forums I dont like, but it was great site to get info from. Its where I got the dates to alot of my CD's and DVD's when I didnt know what they were.
But the only thing was Will sold his stuff for quite dear. I did contact him bout a trade, but he had pretty much every Stone Roses gig there was, and didnt want to trade in anything else. Which was a bit of a pain in the arse.
Never mind though, hopefully some more Roses stuff will surface soon, if not I will have to do a bit of bribing :p
The Complete Stone Roses website is part of that website isn't it?

I think that guy was a bit too money-driven £14 odd quid for some boots, crazy in this day and age... you'd expect to pay that 10 years again for a boot with professional printed artwork and silver CD, long before the days when every buggar could copy to cdr!

To be fair to him though he says he paid lots of money for some of them boots and was just wanting to make it back.
Things like the Hacienda 85 show on dvd is rare as hell and although lots of people have it now Im sure Will was probably one of the first to get it (apart from the actual person who recorded it) and I bet it wasnt cheap when he did get hold of it.
I remember I put a bid of £110 for and Oasis Earls Court DVD a few years ago cos at the time nobody else really had it. I managed to get it for £50 and sold about 20 copies for a tenner each so made my money back.
On the other hand though if the guy was selling CDs for say £5 each I would probably have bought quite a few off him.
