How much ram do you have?

I think my problem with my writer might be memory related. I only have 128mb ram

384mb, even though its still SD ram.

You tried different speeds supersonic? i.e. a slower speed?

What's your processor speed? Those things can be hungry for that.

I would up your ram, 128 is too low. Try to at least double it.

I put a whole guide on a Radiohead forum awhile back. http://www.ateaseweb.com/mb/index.php?showtopic=15813 Check out the post of my moniker there (my iron shlong) and see if that can help.

Basically if its a live bootleg you should be able to rip it to a hard drive with any software UNLESS its a problem with your disc or your drive (updated your firmware yet?). Best thing is if you have a couple shows to rip vs just 1.

You should NEVER rip a dvd by copying and pasting. As some dvds are encrypted a copy and paste copy will not play. Get a program like dvd shrink to rip your dvds. It is a brilliant little program. If you have a 7 gb dvd it can also shrink it to 4.7gb without much loss of quaility
