menu music

Is there anyway in tmpgenc DVD author you can have music playing over the menu?

Any help/advice appreciated. Thanks.

You can do it mate, 1 way to do it is make an mpg with music as the background, and then put that in as your background. I done it once for a mates dvd of his kid in a play, but the picture didnt look as good as it could have that I used in the background.

There are other ways no doubt, and if someone knows, It would be good if they could put up a nice wee guide :):)

im sure one of the older versions used to have this option..but on the latest the only way is what watson said..save your background image with the audio you want on it as a mpeg file...maybe use the normal tmpgenc to convert it

i think you could use a photo programme that makes albums...just save as mpeg...you could put a whole lot of pictures on the mp3 track to get the full limit of the song...then insert it in dvd authour and place your menus on it..
