Showoff
smug git!!!!
still a good few points behind the gooners tho! be like that all season too! :(
could be worse i could be a rangers fan!
whatever
17-09-2004, 09:00
smug git!!!!
Oh yes I am. It is about time that someone else took over from Utd's domination of english football.
could be worse i could be a rangers fan!
Thats is very true
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 09:03
it sure is
i'd love to be able to say to you "make the best of it" but i can't as much as i hate the gooners they are amazing and have a young squad to be around for ages!
whatever
17-09-2004, 09:10
at least you can admit it.
I was the same when utd dominated football through the 90's I couldnt admit it
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 09:12
Yes that reyes and co will be runninga muck for a few years to come
hey mate! credit where credits due! but i think this is a big season for you as u have never won consective titles! also doing well in europe too! but i think you have the best chance of acheiving them both tho!
whatever
17-09-2004, 09:16
yep sure will and i cant wait.
Once we keep the main part of our team (Henry, Vieira, Campbell) and the manager, the football will be unreal for a long time
whatever
17-09-2004, 09:18
but i think this is a big season for you as u have never won consective titles! also doing well in europe too! but i think you have the best chance of acheiving them both tho!
This is a hugh season. We need to win back to back titles. Before we fallen at the last hurdle but hopefully it wont happen this year. And as you said we need to show everyone we can do it in europe as well.
yeah! gutting for us man utd fans :( was hoping vieira would go too! but even if he did go you still have others that could take his place!
we'll be lucky to get third place this season! hopefully fergie will give in to the league and just go for europe! as we can't get points from the lower clubs like we used to! a few years ago we was beating teams 4,5,6,7 - 0 now we are just scrapping for draws and 1 goal wins!
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 09:22
and dont forget to be a great team you got to do the treble just ask man utd fans
Or liverpool who think they won the treble
whatever
17-09-2004, 09:42
i dont think you need to do the treble to be seen as a great team.
Yes UTD where a great team in the 90's and so where the pool in the 70's/80's but I think you just have to prove yourself in europe. Thats all we need to do
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 09:44
Yes and you havnt done it over recent years but i think like bob dylan said the times are a changeing

I think arsenal are better than any of the teams in that comp as they play as a team
just see how they do in europe tho! but in the premiership they'll walk the title!
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 09:57
I think they will win the title now utd are to far behind.............But they have caught up b4
yeah not when arsenel are doing shit like going unbeaten and that! think chelsea will be the closet rivals to arsenel this season!
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 10:09
i think utd will grab 2nd place chelsea 3rd
whatever
17-09-2004, 10:20
i hope chelsea win nothing, just to prove that money cant buy you a title
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 10:24
Well said
whatever
17-09-2004, 10:26
i would rather see the title go to utd than chelsea just for the fact that utd are a team that work on building there team not buying it
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 10:28
I think a few teams will do will this year boro had a good result last night i think mclaren will take over fergies job afer he has gone
whatever
17-09-2004, 10:31
mclaren or else martin o neill for the old trafford hot seat. But i can mclaren going to be the next england boss
i would rather see the title go to utd than chelsea just for the fact that utd are a team that work on building there team not buying it
well said! i really hate chelsea just cause of that bald headed loony (kenyon) and abromovich! but they have put a lot of money into football so it must be a good thing! but i really hope chelsea win fuck all and whoever wins the champions league they will buy half there team again and get the manager!
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 10:36
That is true a good few of the porto players play at chelsea now
whatever
17-09-2004, 10:38
whoever wins the champions league they will buy half there team again and get the manager!
Knowing chelsea they will do that anyway
as a man utd fan i would like to see o'neill as the next man utd manager! i think he has done wonders for celtic! i rate mcclaren but i don't think he has proved himself yet! hes done well at boro but needs to make them into a top side first i think
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 10:41
Things aint going right at crimbo he will pull out a few more million i was surpriesed they didnt go in for rooney
whatever
17-09-2004, 10:42

cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 10:44
So do i he is a great manager
i think thats one of the reasons why oneill is still at celtic. He is holding of for ferguson to leave
i think he has took celtic as far as he can and is waiting for fergie to go too! i see him as a amazing manager and would love him at old trafford!
whatever
17-09-2004, 10:48
the only other thing he could do at celtic is the uefa cup. And thats it.
Amazing manager, sure he was great when he was at lecister
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 10:53

My team Notts County are 91st in England! Says it all really, they've been so rubbish recently I don't know whether to laugh or cry
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 11:54
Well pipey will get you out of shit mate i know it
TSRMagpie
17-09-2004, 12:00
He did have a slow-ish start to the season (for his high standards) but he's been one that's stood out as a good performer. I'm sure we won't go down (touch wood) but I don't think promotion looks likely at the moment what we was really aiming for.
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 12:07
I told his mother what you said about the england shirt she laugthed here head off
He might be in the squad for the england game he is on standby for it he played for the full side against the USA last year or the year b4
I got one of his under 21 tops looks nice in a frame
TSRMagpie
17-09-2004, 12:11
 cool
I remember reading about him making a full appearence. Would be great if he could make it into first team despite the level that Notts County are. I kinda hope he doesn't play against England as I'd feel very bad about booing him :D (Seriously though, it would be really great :) )
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 12:20
I think he is going into the full squad soon he scored a good few screamers for the U21s
Just got to break into the first team now
TSRMagpie
17-09-2004, 12:30
Where does he mainly play for Wales. At Notts he came as a Midfielder but player rightback where he was regulary getting man of the match vote on the web site. This season he's played wingback, rightback and on right of midfield.
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 12:34
he plays anywere really mostlty on the right to be honest when i saw him last agaist azerbajan he played up front and scored
he can play anywhere he sighned to coventry as a defender
TSRMagpie
17-09-2004, 12:38
Me and somebody was talking about situation at Notts with all the injuries and lack of quality in midfield and some suggested that he could probably do a good job in the centre of midfield. I'd say he's definetly got the fitness and abilty to play there.
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 12:43
he has that good stamina welsh legs you see in the welsh program for the irish game they said they reakon he will move into gary speeds position
TSRMagpie
17-09-2004, 12:49
definetly seems to have a bright future ahead of him. He's also a good model, Notts County released some new merchandise at start of this season and he was modelling some of the stuff, one of his pics is more of one for the girls
cardifffemale
17-09-2004, 12:51
