I've just bought their album "Hopes and Fears". Not sure what to make of it yet and it will probably need a few more plays before it really grows on me.

Tracks I'd recommend are the singles Somewhere Only We Know and Everybody's Changing (bought the album cos of this track).

I like them. I saw them supporting Travis two months back.

I got the album too, I like Bedshaped and This Is The Last Time as well, I don't like sunshine though, theres just something annoying about it.

i have the album, it gets a bit boring about on the 8th track, it seems to tail off

Do you not like Bedshaped? (last track)

I don't like that four of the songs have been b-sides to three of their early singles. I bought the album hoping for hew songs and I already had seven of them!

Heard the album last week and I just can't see what people could like about them. The single may have a rather good tune, but their singer sounds about 13 and (this probably disturbs me the most) NO GUITARS :verymad: . What's wrong about guitars then?

Don't mind them....I have to listen to them more, though. SO far, they're ok.

Yeah, but thats what makes them different. If they had guitars they would be Coldplay called wannabees. Apparently they used to have a guitarist but he laft and they didn't replace him.

Apparently the singer and the keybards player are both good on guitar anyway, so if they decide in an album's time that they want guitars again then they can!

‘Guitar has got to such a point where you get the three boys from Busted all doing the jump up in the air at the same time, and I certainly find that some of the people at our gigs are relieved that there isn’t someone jumping up at the start of the chorus doing the classic Pete Townshend move! It’s not a statement, and we’ll probably end up using guitars at some point. It’s just the way that works for us, we’ve just evolved into this way – we did actually have a lead guitarist, but he left the band.’
