XVID to DVD

I download an XVID copy of Dodgeball yesterday in college. Does any on know a good program to convert this file so I can put it onto DVD or is there a way of just putting it onto dvd.

Nero crashes everytime I try

Its a pain in the arse process getting these films to be converted and put into vobs for dvd creation. And something that took me quite a while to get right.

There are a few programs such as TMPGenc, which is quite good and lets you change it to KVCD, which is a DVD compatible file, and you can usually get a couple on there.

With most of the programs it takes around 2-4 hours to convert, depending on yer Comp speed, however it can take even longer sometimes. Though I got a cool wee proggy that does it in real time, but dont do xvid.

Try www.dvdrhelp.com mate, and read up on how to do it with different things, cause someone telling you on forums aint good, unless there is a step by step guide, cause you gotta make sure you get alot of things right so that the film comes out proper, your able to watch it, and its the right size etc etc.

I would do a guide on how to do them, but I am so god damn lazy, so hopefully I will get round to it at some point

yep and you`ve gotta watch out for the out of sync prob aswell....ive got a good way which has never failed me yet...use the decompress prog inside avi2dvd then put the 2 files into tmpgenc and use the pal dvd template and then bobs your auntie.
